Speaker of the Kansas House Mike O’Neal is doing his very, very best to remind the people of Kansas why anyone who works for a living should never, ever vote for a Republican.
At a joint press conference earlier today with the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, O’Neal told reporters he would not consider pushing off tax cuts a year or efforts to decouple the state tax code from the federal code in order to keep more cash in the state coffers, saying, “We must not balance the budget on the backs of Kansas businesses.”
He’d rather balance the budget on the back of individual state employees.
